This is one of our favorite running quotes.
Although we don’t know who originally said it, it was obviously someone who really pushed themselves on their run!
So, after a hard workout or race, when you’re plonking around on what feels like achy wooden legs, just remember that you pushed beyond your limits to get stronger, the soreness is evidence that you’re building new muscle and now your next race or tough workout will be easier because of what you did today.
