When Things Get Tough…
We love this running quote.
When things get tough, sometimes you want to just say forget it and turn around and slowly walk home.
You think: Maybe I should just try again another day, when I feel more rested, or more mentally focused, or more fit or just happier. Maybe then I’ll be successful.
It’s funny how once you give yourself permission to quit, something shifts.
After that, your energy picks up and you think:
No way. I’m not quitting now. I’m not going home in defeat, without trying my hardest. And if I do fall short, I’ll try again and again and again until I make it.
Because life is short, there’s nothing to lose and I’m not a quitter.
